Indian Head pennies????

What numbers are you guys and gals seeing for these in the ground. I hunted a site yesterday where the possibility of finding them exists and dug a lot of targets but the Indian Head still eludes me. What numbers are you seeing mostly with these?

I have only dug the newer Indian heads, no fatties (earlier version). On the new ones I get conductive numbers generally between 32-37, moreso 32-34. I have only dug one at CO numer 37 which is more like a memorial cent reading. The fatties I understand do come in lower. Here's a link to another post on this particular forum listing coin ID numbers on etrac. It may help you.

well fatties are 23 or 24.....I have only dug around 9 or 10 and they all came in at that area

copper bronze indians are low to mid 30's.........lowest I ever had was 28 and it was extremely worn, highest I have had was 38 and it looked like brand new, go figure. As for FE numbers I have had as low as 01 all the way to 15. But 90% are around 08-36. I see that number more than anything. I dug 145 with my etrac last year.
