Increasing Compadre sensitivity affect the discrimination range?

Of the folks who have increased their Compadre's sensitivity by turning the appropriate pot, did that affect the discrimination range by shifting it a direction? Meaning does the "Iron" icon become "all metal on the knob", for example? or does the discrimination stay the same when adjusting sensitivity? Wondering how all that works. What does turning the discrimination pot do? shift the items you search one spot over? Can turning the discrimination pot too far one way knock out certain metals?

Turning the sensitivity potentiometer does not change the discrimination at all that I have been able to observe.

I am happy with how the target discrimination tracks the front panel knob, so I have not touched the discrimination potentiometer on the circuit board and can not help with questions on that adjustment on the Compadre.

As stated, turning up the sense does not affect the disc.
Mine is hotter than hot and I have the full range of metals to dig.
I will say by turning up the disc knob you will lose a little depth, not a ton, but some, but that is normal on most detectors.

As far as messing with the disc pot, most everything I have read about Compadre mods says this is not anything most of us need to or should do.
This adjustment done wrong, like messing with the GB if you don't know what you are doing, can really mess up your detector.

Any adjustments and customizing to the disc is easily accomplished by just loosening the tiny screw on the knob and moving that to a desired location.
