in trainaing whith the cibola - lerned some new things

twas cold today , after all my chores i got out to do some practice so i went to a spot whear someone stode years ago ,practicing whith thear 9mm hand gun and 22 well most of the shells whear buried from 1- to 3" down i found 39 9mm shells and 11 22 shels in an earea of 40 sq ft and i will say the cibola is great whith the 8x9 coil at pinponting no need for the use of the pinpont button and one nete thing i learned was that i could pipont by bobing the coil up and down and when it gave the best loudest sound it was right in the open hole i found three settings NO.1 is sencitivity at 2 and treshold all the way left or even whith the two on the right this gives me anything coin size to depths of 2.25" in this setting i can clean up the targets good and its easear to pinpoint because whenthe max settings are used surface things can give eratic signals and be harder to pinpont well after cleaning the suface i turned to my next setting NO.2 uses threshold at 2 oclock and sence at 8 i get targets up to 3.75" and 4" found a few deeper shells after that i could use the max boost any way im starting to like this machine its so darn light and i like the 8x9 coil i could easaly tell the diff beteen a 22 shell and a 9 mm the 22 gets a brocken signal depending on how its laying in the ground and will not pinpont using the bobing method so thats one way to tell if i have a small object moor later gunar

Thanks for writing. I just bought a Cibola, largely because of fellows like your selves.

Winter is settling in here at Edmonton, so I won't be able to contribute for a while.

Cheers,

David
