In thinking about next spring already..............

.............what is the effect of a winter of freezing and thawing on objects lost in the ground? Is it worth rechecking grounds that I have hit pretty hard this summer in hopes that the freezing has pushed new objects up:? I remember that in the spring we always had to pick up a new crop of rocks from the fields before we plowed becuse the ground heaved them up. I wonder if a small lightweight object, such as a coin, would do the same? What do you more experienced folks think?

:usaflag:I believe that the same principle would apply to light objects.....even more so you would think.

Thanks McDave. We're close enough together that you will face the same question come spring. Pity those fools in southern climes who don't have these interesting dilemmas.
