In the Wheat, an Indian rode a Buffalo to the Barber

Man, what a day. It all started at the bank, that story is below. I then went metal detecting and found my first Barber dime (1916), my first Buffalo Nickel (1931s), my second Indian Head penny (1894p) and a 19?? Wheatie. Can it get any better than this? Again Mel, today WAS the day.

When the teller said, I have a FUNNY LOOKING DOLLAR COIN, I said bring it

I think the tellers must go through the coins here. I live in an impoverished state. I thing everybody goes through the coins. One bank told me they only had loose coins. Is that any good?

man-o-man you really fell into it. I looked up the 1883 "O" on ebay and it alone was going for $15.00-$20.00 circulated in different conditions. Me I probably couldn't sleep if I found coins like you have.

Is that any good?[/quote]Take the loose ones with the rolls. As they were counting out the $15.50 in loose I could see about half was silver. 18 in all, 90%, 40% and the Walker. Then she came up with the "funny looking " dollar. Plus my good looks help too. Total for $171 in halves. 18-1964's (90% silver), 13-1965-70 (40% silver) and the Morgan. Heck, one $10 hand rolled had 10 -64's.

I cashed a check for $300 a while back, and got a box that came from the Federal Reserve. It had been opened earlier that day for a customer that wanted $200, so I took the remaining $300. I could see Ben peeking out at me as she counted out the roll. The other teller told me he had seen a Seated Half not long ago.
