In the water after work.

Got a chance to get in the water and hunt after work, 84 degrees. First time detecting in water over my knees, 57 modern coins, 2 pieces of earrings and a 9999 silver Asian water buffalo pendant. Only 6 piece of metal trash and 3 pieces of glass in the scoop. Hope the weather stays warm I would like to try this again. Wish I had a camera with me the fish could not get enough of me and my detector. They kept getting hit every time I would swing the coil.

Smile, it make people wonder what you have been up too.

Looks like you have a pretty old earring there! Nice silver pick up,I'd be happy with that for sure. Gonna start my water hunts next week and hit the popular spots since summers over where I live. Good luck in future hunts!

It looks like you made a good hall.in the water. Some nice finds... KEN from Ind.

I consider that an excellent hunt. Thanks for posting.

Congratulations! Nice finds

I had the charm I found interpreted and this is what I was told.

The words above the water buffalo simply mean "good luck" in a nice way. Pronounced as "ji xiang ru yi" - can be used as
a blessing during Chinese New Year etc.

The two words on the back are "xing fu," it means blessed, or happiness and blessing.

"Because of their importance to agriculture, the water buffalo or ox
(niu 牛) symbolizes springtime, harvest and fertility."

I learn something new every day.

JC.
