I enjoyed meeting you out in the lane yesterday Max! We sure had a wild day of it. The ziplock bag over the housing on my Sovereign seemed to keep all the rain out too.

I mis-read the writing on the ring and it is actually made of tungsten carbide by a company by the name of TrewTungsten. The ring is a wedding band with a very high polish that lasts through about anything. (According to their website)

I was in the lane for 4 1/2 hours from noon to about 4:30. I found a lot of junk and clad plus the tungsten ring, a very tiny gold ring with 8 very tiny diamonds, a silver toe ring, and a silver earring.

I will be back out for today's low tide rain or shine or lashing waves or blasting sand!
