Those critters are very distructive to gardens in our area. Plus they dig holes in pastures where cows and horses accidently step in them and break a leg.

Moles make a mess of my yard....good idea for them also, but I am always afraid that some other animal would dig up the poisoned food or poison and eat it instead and kill them! Moles plow the ground and Ground Hogs make deep holes...the same with Prairie Dogs! Saw lots of them when out West on vacation in the 60's! Gotta live with them, for they are amongst us but they still are beautiful in their own way! :sad: Ma Betty

Moles, skunks, and armadillos love to eat grub worms and other turf bugs like mole crickets.... perhaps other critters do as well.

Poison the grub worms with a specific brand mole killer containing Dylox, Bifenthrin, Zinc Phosphide, or Bromethalin. If there are no insects for the moles to eat, they will move on to your neighbors yard / near by field, etc. where no insect killer is stopping their food chain. Just go to your local hardware store and they will fix you up with what you need without having to remember all the above chemical names.

Thanks ED, and I used to not have any moles because of spraying my lawn with insecticide, but since I am unable to take care of my yard any longer, I haven't done weed and feed or insecticide for serveral years now, so here they come and since my neighbor has been taking such good care of his yard in back of me, he has chased the moles into my backyard and then they work their way around to the sides and front! I am to where I don't care any more and that is how diseases work on a person to the point that our cares turn to other areas...like trying to keep going day by day without feeling so poorly but do most of the time anyway!
