In my neck of the woods..

Please keep in mind in your neck of the woods conditions may differ and some detectors just work better in certain areas.Heck imagine if I took a CZ to another State would probably see differences and have to adjust for the prevailing conditions...

Hi Dan. All I can tell you is cz's work great in Nebraska. At this stage of the detecting game in my life, I like their simplicity and ruggedness and pure raw power. I don't get out near as much as I used to so having a brand new super duper detector with all the bells and whistles just isn't in the cards(or budget).
Maybe when I retire?? At least 10 years off so who knows. Keep it swinging and HH. Bob.

Dan I'm in Corning, NY and have been here since last week. Before I came I researched the area and found some old parks to hunt. I brought my CZ70 with me, and I did really well (for me at least). I'll post my finds when I get back, but I got a nice variety of finds from jewelery to a nice sampling of old coins, a nice button that was an easy 7-8" deep (and it hit nice, gave that solid ping you get on deep silver!) and I believe a Colonial buckle (I'll post a pic, I need help to ID it, we just don't see them in California).

I love my CZ70, hands down the best detector I've used thus far, BUT I do have a F75 Ltd on the way. I hope it'll do at least as well as the CZ70, then I'll finally have reached my goal of only two machines - a great salt water beach hunter (the CZ70) that can also double as a deep turf hunter (for a backup) AND a faster, lighter main deep turf hunter

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I won't get the machine until the end of the month.

BTW Dan where abouts in PA are you? Corning is only about 10-15 miles North of the PA border.

hh,
Brian
