In-line probe

D&P-OR

Well-known member
Has any of you guys used the Sunray YF1 in-line probe on the Ace 250?-----If so, how do you like it on that detector & how has it worked out?--------Del

Hey DP I like mine very much, you can go to sun rays forum for more info, Hank

I have one for my 1500/2500. Don't need the extra wires dangling around or the extra weight, makes the machines nose heavy. Much prefer the Propointer. Some people love 'em, I can leave 'em.

I have the probe on my Ace and the Garrett for my ETrac. The are both very good. With the inline probe you can see what your screen is reading when your pinpointing, but your tied to the wire. Then you also have to watch the switches on the box. You forget to switch back to the coil or you bump the switch.

The weight don't bother me at all, then again I'm 6'3" 315 the cord is strapped with Velcro when not in use, get one you will like it!
