In A Slump And Bummed Out About It

A couple of weeks ago I was in a slump and bummed out about it. I just haven't found anything worth posting. But as our dear departed Paul Harvey would say..."here's the rest of the story".

Now for the record I still haven't found anything, but that's an easy explanation because I've been too busy with work to detect. Now, here's the GOOD news...I have been granted permission to hunt two potentially awesome sites.

The first: An old veteran's home that to my understanding was first used as a CW veteran's home. Later, it was the first area hospital - privately owned.

The second: City Officials have granted me permission to hunt on city property (it's off limits to everyone else). This land saw some CW action and I have a very good feeling about what I will find.

So...Here's my point. If you're bummed about not finding anything as of late, do your research, ask permission and keep on swingin' that coil!

[size=medium]Hay David,

Take it from another David.

It is so easy ta get bumbed out in doin this hobby.

Most of tha places we research are tha pits. No good
for one reason or another, (usually many reasons).

Most of tha places we hunt, just produce things that
tha garbege men wouldn't even pick up.....................:blink:

It's enough ta make a grown man feel like a fool.........:huh:

I'm 60 now. I've been through that so many times that,
some where along tha line, I got just good enough, that
I don't let it get to me as much any more.

It is not just tha hobby. It's like takin medicin.

Ya got ta do it..... Might as well enjoy it................
