Impression of the Killer Bs one ear phones

For awhile I've been contemplating on buying a set of one ear headphones. I finally bit the bullet on the Killer Bs.

Overall impression - great.

Just for others to know, they fit TIGHT. If you have a large head beware!! I have a fairly small head - my hat size is 6 7/8" and the headphones feel tight. After an hour of use, the side of your head where the none-ear phone is starts to hurt. I'm used to them now and no longer hurts.

When I first got them and tried them on, I almost felt dizzy. It took a solid hour before I got used to them. It's weird hearing only out of one side.

Now that I've been using them for a solid 8 hours, I would never hunt with anything else.

I can't really comment on the volume, etc, because I have really good hearing and normally have the volume quite low. I like the idea that the volume control knob has small little grooves that makes the control knob stay in place.

I would recommend these to anyone but would be leery because of their tight fit.

I've had mine for better than five years and am very happy with them. They are the standard dual earphone model and oddly, I bought them needing a bigger adjusting headset. Ruggedly built but very comfortable.
I'm sticking with the brand too.

I have the dual volume Killer B's and they sound great on my Tesoro detectors.
Mine fit snug, but they are comfortable. Great pair of headphones.......HH

I use the Killer B II's on my Sovereign GT. I have hearing problems is the reason I went with the b's with the volume control on each side. They fit nicely and are very comfortable even after six to eight hours of detecting. Cut the outside noise and give me nice clean clear tones. They are everything that I could want in a set of headphones.

I have the "Stinger" one earcup heaphone, great for deep woods hunting as it leaves one ear in the open to listen for varments, two legged or otherwise.

I really dislike having dual volume speaker controls. They should make them work similar to binoculars. Have an adjustment where you can make both earphones have the same volume out of each ear. Maybe by a slot so a coin can be used for the adjustment. Once adjusted, you can use one volume control to adjust the volume for both ears.
