Impressed to say the least..

I picked up a racer last week and im really impressed with what im seeing/hearing.. It is a very deep detector. I was worried i wouldnt get enough depth. The tones are so clean and easy on the ears.. This is the best detector ive used sound wise without headphones.. I do use headphones 99% of time though. Fast recovery, light weight, very easy menu, well thought out design, and it finds the goods.. Once my other 2 coils get here i will do some serious hunting and get a good feel of how good it actually is..

Yes my f75se2 is a beast.. But the racer is pleasant on the ears and very good at picking out good targets in the junk..

The audio, both the way it sounds and works. Definitely makes you stop and investigate. Iron monster too with small OOR coil.

Haven't touched my F75LTD2 with the small 3" X 6" coil since getting the Racer with the OOR 5" coil. That goes for ghost town iron trash as well as modern Park trash.

Although I know it's deeper, my F75 LTD2 has been collecting dust the past few months since I got my Racer.

Don't worry though, I'll dust it off this winter when I hit my hard core sites, and then I'll run the Racer through the same sites in clean out mode :detecting:

Hope the Racer does as well for you as it has been doing for me.

Brian

I would as I think most of us would like to see the next step in depth and masking and ID the next step being a must have and that works different from what is out there now...Maybe the new fishers in 2016?

Look forward to hearing about outings.

does it give clear TIDS with ring pulls tops and foil ??

all junk targets suck on any detector that I have used

Well i spent a few hours today with all 3 coils.. Went to my hunted out park where i test all of my new detectors...the racer did very well.. All 3 coils were great.. My favorite coil is 5x10… very deep and balances so well i can swing machine for a month without stoping.. Found V nickel, silver rosie, several old buttons and some very deep 22 shell casings..all of my finds were in deep iron infested dirt.. Im very happy.. The racer very clearly gave good tones on all 22 shell casings which tells me if it can easily find them in the iron well it will find coins which it did.. The tones is where its at.. Even deep targets gave very good tones.. All 3 coils were perfect for what they are.. I dont have the largest coil.. Foil fooled me a couple times.. If foil is smashed into a ball sized like a coin then i was fooled... Most all bad targets i knew were bad before i dug.... Tone told me. So thats my day.. Going out tomorrow... I like the racer.. Great machine..

I guess I need to get my hands on the 5x10" DD coil...have the 15", 11" and 5", but that 10" coil is sounding like a nice one too!

Oh it swings sweet that 5x10" coil and makes the machine feel like it's got the 5"oor on it. I'm leaving the 5x10" on mine unless, unless I feel I need for the 5" oor coil due to the site.

They seem to be close will have to test both coils in iron this fall and see if they both can see the same target...Then it would be hunt with the 5x10 and then go back with the 5 and see what else it can find?
