About a year ago, I posted a Detecting Card on one of the Guv's Forums to demonstrate what could be used to give to a and owner when obtaining permission. It contained a silhouette of a Detectorist that I found on the internet.
I received an email from Rick Martin stating that the silhouette was designed by him and if I didn't stop using it, he was going to have his lawyer start a lawsuit.
Even though I had no way of knowing whether that exact silhouette was in fact Rick's or even where I had found it on the net

It was a black silhouwette of a man swinging a detector. I no longer have a copy of it.
I hope that one day soon we can get together and do some detecting together.
I am ending my Florida winter and will be home by Thursday of next week. Unfortunately the other day, I believe I pulled a ligament in my knee and may have to have it operated on. I am waiting to get home to go to the doctors so I don't know how long I will be laid up. Thank goodness, it happened at the end of my Florida Trip.. now that would have been a bummer.
