A small number of CTX 3030 units have shown a problem where they suddenly shut down unexpectedly. The root cause was determined to be a miscommunication between the smart battery monitoring chip and the control box processor. A result of this miscommunication is that the control box can mistakenly recognize the battery to be low and initiate a managed shutdown of the system. A software fix has been created to overcome this problem and is now available for download directly via XChange 2 or manually from the CTX 3030 download page as a file.
