IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - RACER & RACER 2

Nokta Detectors

Active member
Dear Valued Members,

This is to inform you that as of March 1, 2018:

Racer (or as some people call it, the Red Racer) has been discontinued.

Racer 2 - the wireless module has been moved to inside so the wireless headphones will not require a dongle anymore.

Racer 2 and Gold Racer pricing has been adjusted as follows:

RACER 2 STANDARD MSRP: $499
RACER 2 PRO PACKAGE MSRP: $649
GOLD RACER STANDARD PACKAGE $599
GOLD RACER PRO PACKAGE MSRP: $749,00

We will continue to work hard to offer you the best products at the best prices in this industry as we promised in the official announcement of the merger of Nokta & Makro Detectors a couple of years ago.

Thank you all for your support!

Nokia, now that the red Racer has been discontinued will we still be able to get it repaired?
Thanks
Eric

snap up a couple of the Racer 2's at the new killer price! Remember, they interchange the same coils as the original Racer.

Remember to use headphones so you don't hear all the noise. Do you hear it? SShhuuush ... Listen. Do you hear it?

It's coming from a number of different sources out of Texas, Oregon and even from lands afar and all the grumbling nose is blended together. Here, let me decipher it:

WHAT!!! ... Oh No! ... How in the heck?!?! ... Crap!, Now what are we going to; do? .. It's only March 2nd, not April 1st (April Fools day) .. Tell our engineering and marketing folks to get with the program! .. My goodness, what a killer deal! .. Hey boss, did you see what those folks did? .. It's incredible! ... We couldn't catch up with their upper-dollar units, now we can't even match their 'underdog' priced unit with the best we have -- back to the drawing board. .. Maybe it is time for a Going-out-of-business sale?

Yep, all that and more is being grumbled from all parts of the world of detector manufacturing and making it hard to hear. Just grab a new Racer 2, put on some snug fitting headphones to block all that noise and go find stuff. Four Ninety Nine ... Simply remarkable!

Monte thanks for the heads up about the Racer 2! I spent all my funds on a Multi Kruzer so no go for a new Racer 2. I'm going to part with one of my detectors, if I can't get my Racer fixed if the need arises I'm going to let the Racer go and keep my MXT Pro for a backup machine.
Think spring!
Eric

So will I still be able to buy the headphones with the dongle for my older racer2??!?!?
If that means you will no longer be including the dongle with the makro headphones, I'll never be able to use them..
