Impedance question

I have just purchased the Ace 250 and will probably pick it up this weekend. I was wondering what would be a good impedance match for the headphones. I just picked up a pair of clipons for coin hunting in bush as with the normal headphones, the branches keep knocking them off my head. These have an impedance of 32 ohms with an audio frequency of 10hz to 25khz. Will have to build an external volume control as they are loud and what I hear the "yeller feller" with no volume control is also loud. At 73 my hearing is still quite good. Thanks for your help. Well, Garrett is certainly short on specifications. Best bet is to e-mail them and ask what the value of the limiting resistor to the headphone jack is?
If you like to tinker, then you could whip up an L-Pad volume control pretty easy. But I happened to see the Koss UGA amp on sale at this link:

By the time you ordered parts w/shipping, or drove around to get them, I think your costs would be close to this UGA.
Good luck!
