Impact

My gosh, surely it uses a standard 1/4" jack?

It uses the big one standard.

Here is what I plug in to my Impact detector straight in to detector too,,no adapter or anything like that.

Looking at impact add they are phillip brand phones and looks like 1/8 plug. Nice to know they are 1/4 plug.

I need to clarify here,,Impact detector physically has the bigger jadk for headphones.

What the manufacturer is supplying with Impact,,,the actual size of the Jack used on those wired headphones,,,I don't have,,so I can't say for sure what size they are.

I think they maybe supplying an adapter and yes the wired headphones supplied have the smaller jack.

Yes, the Impact's headphone JACK is the familiar ¼" type, or larger size.

The supplied headphones appear to the Phillips, and they have a ⅛" mini-PLUG. However, Nokta supplies in the kit a ¼" ADAPTER so a ⅛ PLUG from the Phillips or most other headphones could be used.

My personal preference is using my Killer B 'Hornet' headphones which come with the desired ¼" standard PLUG.
