impact wireless headphones red edition

hello all.
i have the impact and have just bought the red edition headphones. is there anyone on here that use them too??
i am having some problems with them. keeps loosing connection, so sound is bouncing from headphones to detector alot.
in the house there is alot of disturbance and the range is about 30cm.
out in the field they disconnect when not swinging the detector. is that normal???
and sometimes also when swinging the detector.
is this what i can expect from these headphones or is there something wrong?

channel by pulling and holding the trigger switch and pressing the down button simultaneously. Each time you press the down
button, channels will change between 00-09-oF.<<<<

i have tried both things. changing channels on the detector doesnt help and if you go above channel 5 there is no connection at all.
if you turn the headset the "wrong" way there is even shorter range. barely any connection to the detector.

Make sure the headphones are fully charged. If the battery is low they will disconnect often.

Did you upgrade the Impact to 1.16?

yes. had to upgrade for it to work. have also tried to downgrade to 1.14 and upgrade to 1.16 again.

have found the problem. it was the headphones that had a defect, so they will be going back

My red edition phones won’t pair either....how do you tell if they are faulty ?
