Imedion Batteries, anybody try them?

Hey all,

I am replacing the tenergy batteries in my battery packs. They were great at first but now don't hold much of a charge. I tried refreshing them with my Lacrosse charger and most tested in the 1300-1500mah range down from the original 2800mah rating.

I've since used the low discharge Sony Eneloops which I am liking. They are 2000mah batteries and testing shows they hold that capacity.

Imedion makes a low self discharge 2400mah batteries. From the reports on Amazon they are a bit bigger in diameter than standard AAs. Has anyone tried them in the Minelab packs? Do they fit?

Chris

I wouldn't use them, they may make your packs crack (if you could even get them in there) I use the eneloops, but mine are 2750 ma's. I bought them online from a place in Conn...........NGE

I use "powerex" brand rechargeable batteries whenever I replace batteries in any of my packs. I have had great luck with them. You can get them at your local "batteries plus" or online. I like them very much and have been using them in everything with batteries for about 3 years now. Good luck. I don't know much "technical stuff" about electrical stuff, but I know that these have worked very well for me. They have held their charge and have increase my run-time in everything I put them in. I use powerex and Eneloops in my mxt and Etrac . Been running them for a year now with no problems.
