Imaging vs Profiling

Can anybody explain the differences between "Imaging-GTI 1500/2500" and Profiling
-GTP1350"? I am trying to decide what unit to get next.
Thanks...

Imaging means you get the size AND true depth of a target.Sizes are A;B;C;D;E.
A= smaller than coins
B= Coin size
c= bigger than coins but smaller than cans
D= can size targets
E= bigger than cans
The GTI detectors have to have an imaging coil to do the sizing.That means you loose the sizing if you use the 4.5 sniper coil or the 10x14 DD coil.
The Profiling can just tell you the size but not the true depth of a target smaller or bigger than coins.
Only on coin size targets you get the right size AND depth.
You have just 3 sizes; small , medium and large.
But you can size with ALL coils.
I hope that helps,
HH,
Andy

Thanks Andy,
You have helped me with my decision. I don't think I can go wrong with the GTP 1350....

You'll like it just fine. It's a dandy machine.
