An old locket found at an old homestead site few years ago. These could be custom ordered by catalogue at a local store and produced in a center such as Montreal or Chicago. The the monogram is gold, etched by hand, the case is gold plated. The initials match the the name on the deed of the land in the mid-1800's, Saunders.
