I'm tired of hearing all about AT Pro

Hope your order comes through and best of luck with the ACE. U B soundin like a force and aint even got your machine gun yet . knockem out the ring hot texan.

Hi Hot Texas, I also just ordered the ace 350. I looked at a few other brands in the same price range and decided on the 350. I think my decision was mostly based on my liking the 250 so well. I thing the 350 is going to be a really fun and enjoyable detector. I myself don't have a problem hearing bout the AT Pro. I plan on getting one this spring so I would like to take the time now to tell all the guys/gals doing bench and field tests and giving their views and opinions and pics of finds and all of the information concerning the AT Pro, A big thanks!! Hot Texas Best of luck with your Ace 350 !! hope to see some of your finds!!

Thanks Blade, I enjoy all the post on the At pro , and getting one this spring also, Just trying to give them a hard time  Good luck with yours, hope you find a pot of gold, Keep us posted.

So I ordered a New Ace 350 today :super: I going to put all dem Pro to shame :detecting:
Bill AND Monte give it the thumbs up, so you should be happy. Let us know about the low end iron function-would especially like to know the cut-off point of an iron nail or paper clip. LOL.

Like the Ace 250 and the AT Pro in STD mode, the Ace 350 gives you the saturated audio and a decent audio response. Like the others it has the same simple Sensitivity adjustment and uses full notch Discrimination segments like the GTA of the 250 and non-ferrous range of the AT Pro. And finally, like the AT Pro you have the larger Double-D coil and I believe that coil choice does a lot to improve the quicker response compared with the Ace 250 stock coil. I wish they all had a little longer upper 'S' rod for improved fit and comfort.

I have used the Ace 350 a little bit afield, and from the indoor comparison I done so far with the AT Pro I think the Ace 350 ought to about match it most of the time. Best features compared with the AT Pro is that the search coils are more availabale and easier to mount/dismount. Also, I can use my favorite versatile Killer B Wasp or SunRay Pro Gold headphones with the Ace 350.

Especially if you're a Garrett fan, I think you'll like it. The bigger coil is a bit much for some sites so I'd favor an Ace 350 w/stock 11' DD coil and a 4

I got my ace 350 a month ago. Works great.

Thanks very much Monte, I haven't tried the SunRay Pro Gold headphones, I have tried the Killer B's on a detector once, I'm very hard of hearing about 50 % deaf and they just didn't put out the volume that I like, the best headphone I have found for me are White's headphones, (that ugly purple color) Haven't tried any Garrett's head phones and hope they work good.

If I had my wish for another coil it would be something like a 5x7 DD  hope they come out with one.

Yeah Monte, the 350 doesn't have to take a back seat to anything and does share many of the elements of the AT and the new DD coil makes all the difference in the world in general performance.

Bill

Yeah we all know what a "hot" machine the 250 turned out to be and so much emphasis has been heaped on the AT PRO that we have overlooked the fact that the 350 is a "souped up" version of the 250 and an even hotter coin, relic, and goodie magnet.

Bill

289.00 For mine.
