I'm thinking of getting the Excalibur 800 as my second detector to my Whites XLT...what do you users think of this machine and can you show me some of your finds. I'm really getting the itch to get my toes wet that the XLT won't let me....
 
I have been using the Excal 800 for almost a month now and I like it very much. I found my first gold ring last night, ck my post. I also like the unit because you can discriminate out the iron, no more nails, it is wonderful.
 
I just ordered one, be here soon. I mostly hear good things about the Excaliburs, i would go ahead and get one, especially if there is alot of iron. HH
