I'm sold

Had my new Deleon in my trunk today, and at lunch I figured I would go search a small softball park for about 30 minutes before going back to work. Just walking behind the backstop I found 3 quarters, 1 dime, 2 pennies and a small valve. I had the disc set high at coins and dug anything at 95.

I am so impressed with this machine. Is the Cortes the same with a few more bells and whistles? I'm sold on Tesoro over anything I have ever used.

Hello Dan, I'm glad to see that we have another happy Tesoro user. They are excellent machines and I don't think they have any model that I would dislike. Ok Dan I just wanted to say hi and the Cortes is one that I haven't tried yet. Happy hunting and God Bless.

glad to hear Dan that you found a great machine you are happy with, i agree with you guys i think tesoro has any machine that can make you happy. Just curious what other machines have you tried that you like this one better?

You're right about the DeLeon, Dan. I had one but now use the Tejon.

The DeLeon has been rated by some as deeper than the Cortes but most seem to think it's about the same in depth.

I will tell you this, if you learn the DeLeon you will dig far more good stuff than you would with many other brands.

All Tesoros are under rated and this goes double for the DeLeon and maybe tripple for the Silver uMax.

They're good, but the Deleon feels better for me. I tried a few Whites, a Minelab Explorer also. I can't pin it down why I like the Deleon so much over the others, other than we just "click" together.

Thanks for the blessing, John, and God Bless you also.

Had 2 garretts couldn't seem to get much over 6" with either one of them.My dad uses a 2500,and swears by it.I had a tejon and loved it,but got talked into trading it for something else which i still regret. But the cortes has been working great for me........kd

My Tejon and Cibola are just a different critter that I can't let go of. I have no regrets on purchasing the Tesoro's - except I should have bought them sooner. They sure do click in a different way - for the better.
