My Hot little Ace 350 has been good to me again. I going to name My Ace Sunshine, because she put sunshine on my shoulders yesterday :cheekkiss:

Yesterday I was hunting a old park Near downtown, OOOH yes one of those Pounded parks :) I have been there many times before my self. It was cold, cloudy 35deg here, Us Texans just ain't use to this

This is a area littered with trash. Steel bottle cap have coated the ground, I have decided to step it up and hunt in the zero mode. I couldn't believe the separation I was getting between targets, I also was amazed how slow you could swing and get a hit on a good target, There is so much trash I almost said to heck with it, but about that time a found a few pennies and even started to slow down even more.

after about a hour and a half I found a silver dime. I can not read the date on it and the zinc pennies are ate up. but also found a Wheat cent and then about 5 inches down I find a Texas Star.

It wasn't till I got home and cleaned it to find out what it was.

It's from The Texas Spring Palace 1890 Ft. Worth, Texas. What makes this so cool to me is I'm hunting near where the Waco Cotton Palace was in Waco, Both the Texas Spring Palace and the Waco Cotton Palace was open for a short time beacuse both caught on fire and burned to the ground. Here is a link to the Texas Spring Palace and it's history and some pictures of my finds

Great star! Just the kind of thing I like to find! Congrats!

Nice finds !! Is'nt that roosevelt dime silver too? It looks like a '57 to me.

Nice hunt Mr HT. Looks like you got the ace a little more under control now.. Give Sunshine a hug for me. Gotta love that star and the silver. U deserve a big ole meatloaf samich for that hunt:rofl:just messin wit ya, carry on

You'll find if you continue to hunt in zero mode how hot the 350 is on gold chains and some other gold items and you will get a "boop" signal on those. I recovered a 14 KT gold chain necklace ( about three inches down ) in zero mode that the other modes skipped right over without making a peep. In running an air test on this necklace later I found the 350 would pick it up at 6-8 inches in zero mode. Sensitivity can be four bars and up depending on soil conditions and trash.

So if you're in an area prone to lost jewelry it would be wise to hunt in zero mode only and possibly dig a little junk as the zero will seek out those items invisible to the other modes. And separation with the DD is great and slow is much better for finding those nearly invisible gold items due to the configuration of the DD signal, especially at near or peak depth where the signal narrows down like the edge on a sharp knife and you can skip right over a target.

Bill.

Real nice Ht, like the star. Glad you were able to get out and it looks like you got that 350 figured out for sure. Just wish spring would hurry up and get here. Glad some body's able to get out and hunt. Keep posting, love seeing those great finds.

I've been around for a long time, Didn't have much doubt about the 350, just needed a little help and know how to get the right answer real fast

Good grab there. Relics like that are way better than coins.
Or to me anyway. Different world back when that was made.

Sweet! Way to go! That star would make my day for SURE! So far I've only pulled a few historic 'relics'..but it's all about location. You need to get back there asap!
