My Hot little Ace 350 has been good to me again. I going to name My Ace Sunshine, because she put sunshine on my shoulders yesterday
Yesterday I was hunting a old park Near downtown, OOOH yes one of those Pounded parks I have been there many times before my self. It was cold, cloudy 35deg here, Us Texans just ain't use to this
This is a area littered with trash. Steel bottle cap have coated the ground, I have decided to step it up and hunt in the zero mode. I couldn't believe the separation I was getting between targets, I also was amazed how slow you could swing and get a hit on a good target, There is so much trash I almost said to heck with it, but about that time a found a few pennies and even started to slow down even more.
after about a hour and a half I found a silver dime. I can not read the date on it and the zinc pennies are ate up. but also found a Wheat cent and then about 5 inches down I find a Texas Star.
It wasn't till I got home and cleaned it to find out what it was.
It's from The Texas Spring Palace 1890 Ft. Worth, Texas. What makes this so cool to me is I'm hunting near where the Waco Cotton Palace was in Waco, Both the Texas Spring Palace and the Waco Cotton Palace was open for a short time beacuse both caught on fire and burned to the ground. Here is a link to the Texas Spring Palace and it's history and some pictures of my finds
