I'm on a Barber quarter roll

Mark in S.E. IA

Sat I was on my way back to the park where I found the four Barber coin spill last weekend and decided to stop at another small park on the way. I've been to this park before with the Xterra 505 but didn't find anything old at that time so I thought I would see if the Etrac could find something there and I'm glad I stopped. I found a really slick Barber quarter, a Merc and 5 crusty wheat's. That makes it the third week in a row that I have found at least one Barber quarter. I'm starting to like this Etrac, lol.

wat to go Mark

Found my first ever this year 1899

And that is one of the most worn Barbers I've seen. Got some really flat seated.

I've had the chance to look through some coin collections that were handed down from older folks that culled older coins from their change. Amazed how worn the average coin was. My detecting finds are generally in much better shape; guess they were lost before they were worn out. Like the Merc you have there.

Big Barbers are always great to find. Keep that roll going!

My old hi school gym coach always said 'do it again so you don't forget how'
