I'm OLD!!! I punked out on going hunting this morning........

I got up at 03:40 A.M. yesterday. I hunted for a couple of hours, then when I went home, I wiped out for half the day.
I got my gear ready to go for another early morning hunt, then, realized I would be running the risk of falling asleep at the wheel afterward if I did.
So, voiced my concerns to beloved wife who said "Of course you're tired, you're OLD!!!!!
The dear woman wastes no sympathy on weak old poops like me.
So, I slept in til 07:30 this morning. Feeling 40 years younger now!!
But the beach I was going to hit will have been hit by now, oh well.

Well I hope that feeling is nothing to be ashamed of.

The grandkids came over saturday and talked me into taking the 18' boat for a ride and by the time I got home I was beat, then yesterday I hooked up the 14' to go to our river lot for a picnic but an hour later I put it back in place and decided to go to the state park where there is a nice lake for them to swim instead, took the md also but ended up mostly WATCHING them swim, caught up on an hours sleep while I was there also!

I also have the habit of working a couple hours then fall asleep in the recliner watching tv so maybe it has something to do with getting older!

My wife don't say too much about it anymore since we went to her 50th class reunion!

Nope, I'm the rugged handsome guy in the bottom photo. I have no idea who the two wheeler guy is. (handsome sort tho, I must say)!!!
