I'm off to a tiny beach later today during low tide. I'm taking along a small shovel since the area I'll be hunting has very hard packed sand.
Last week I tried an old beach which I cleared a few years ago. This was my first trip there with the AT Pro. It was very precise and quiet once after I ground balanced it, all the way down to 20. I found the paystreak line along the wet sand, but only plucked out a 5 cent Euro coin. The rest of the beach got me up to about 30 cents total... Wasted more money on fuel and parking...
I have permission to hunt some fields in nearby Slovenia, might go tomorrow. The fields are in an area where alot of people passed by during their trips between inner Yugoslavia, and Northeast Italy.

Got back from the sea. The tide didn't go low enough to hit the sandy area. I tried two other beaches in the same area. The wind was blowing at one, while the other was well sheltered by a hill. I dug up 4 fishing weights, one 1 Euro and one 50 Eurocent coins, one 2 Tolarjev Slovenian coin, one 200 lire coin, one gaming token, and a worthless bracelet. Next time I will take some pictures of my hunting grounds.
