General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

First thing i want to say is good going FINDS TREASURE,The rules are there for a reason.....I made a trade with a guy going by the name wayne irwin aka Tiff,He went behind my back and ask Back woods for some personal info on me as RICHARD is a very good man to do buness with he told him know,THANK you very much RICHARD ....GOD ONLY KNOWS what he was up too,so tiff call me and said he was having so trouble with the detector i traded him,IT was new safari used twice,He told me it was making some sounds that it should not be making.....I told him would help him in any way i could just pm me and let me know what i could do,HE told me he was kick off FTF,,I know see him selling the same detector on other forums BEWARE........OF THIS GUY,,,,,THANKS RICHARD AND FINDS T..........AND THATS WHY WE HAVE RULES ABOUT SELLING HERE AND IM GLAD WE DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11:thumbup:
 
There are folks out there who think they can get something for nothing...that is why I sell everything with the understanding that your buying USED, unless I explicitly say it is new, and your buying As IS...If you want a warranty (which I would give on a new item), or you want new, then buy from a dealer or a store...You GET what you PAY for...I had a guy reverse charges thru paypal on a 30 amp 12 Volt power supply that he paid me $75 bucks for...he had my supply, and the money back from paypal. PayPud wanted to charge me the $75.00 I do not check the email I use for paypal regularly, so I missed their mailings to me...I really did not expect to get mailings from them...Suffice it to say, I got screwged, and had to open a new account...I can still send money thru PayPud, I just cannot receive money anymore...I seldom sell on eBad or use PayPud anyways...Both are now owned by the same company...Bad to put the 2 in one business I say...there are loopholes in both of them, and bad folks out there who will use them to get things for free, and mess you out of your items...Be Careful!!!

I really dont like payput buy i think its the best way to go for buying on the net........I latter found out that wayne had the gain up way to high on the safari,The trade i did with him was not so bad but he did tell some lies the detector i traded him was very much like new ,he told me that the detector i got from him was a 3 mounths old but i found out it was from 08 and it had been work on by whites,,,,,,man o man you just dont know any more!!!!!!!!!!!All i can say is watch your slef with him!!!!!!! :(
 
I've done business with Wayne in the past and had no problems.
 
I traded Wayne Irwin a detector a few weeks ago and had no problems at all.
He seems like a nice guy.
Perhaps he was just trying to get Richard to vouch for you.
If he did not know you there is nothing wrong with him asking others about you.
In fact he was being safe ... I don't see a problem.
Your post seems to say you are thankful that rules are in place to keep us safe.
I think that is all he was doing ... trying not to get ripped off by someone he did not know.

What secret personal information was he asking for and why would Richard know it?
You do not say in your post.
And believe me it is easy for someone to screw you using Paypal.

I think there is some serious misunderstanding taking place here.

I just found out that L S Hunter is trying to give me a bad name. The thing is a was trying to play it safe because i heard a sound on my
safari and but i found out after the threshold was up to far. I call greg told him a about it he told me that there is a warranyty on it. I found out that there was not a warranty on it at all. So i did call Richard and he told me that i could not use the warranty it is in Gregg Matlock name. That is only reason that i call Richard that why Gregg Matlock is mad a me. I was playing safe. I think any one would do the same. And by the way the dfx that L S Hunter has is new. And
also i am not trying to sale my safari i am trying to trade it in for a minelab se. So i hope when you read this that you will believe me. Gregg Matlock lie and told me there was a warranty but there was not in his name yes in my name no. So i am sure you would do the same thing he lie. He seem like a real nice guy if i did any thing wrong for going behind his back which any one would of done i am very sorry. Again just playing it safe thats all
