I do however see some of my pals here! I got my XS a couple weeks ago for my B-day. I have been hunting in presets on digital mode. I have found several good coins, but nothing deeper than 6" yet. everything I have found, I would have found with my 6000. Any suggestions?

try iron mask -10 to -14 with ferrous tones. I hunt trashy areas and that works the best for me. HH

Try turning up the sens to highest # that gives a steady tone when detector isn't moving. But if you get null when sweeping you should turn down sens, go to iron mask &/or sweep slower. The threshold tone will tell you if sens is up too high or not. HH, George (MN)

hi mike, the biggest thing i found is that you have to slow way down. the target seperation is great once you do that. i havent found anything deeper than 8in.but finding things that i missed becauseof being next to iron or other trash. hh ron

there has to be something deep there to find. Keep looking.
