I'm learning one thing about the F75

If theres a Target in the ground thats Good and your willing to dig the junk to get it out of the way so you can better pinpoint the good target, the F75 will Find it.It seems I always grab it over my other detectors. The separation and speed with the Larger Fisher DD coil is something to try for yourself.I would like to see a six inch DD coil for the F75 and a concentric coil also.

Would you please address pinpointing. I have an MXT and I'm fairly good with a 6" DD Coil, but the 10" DD really challenges me. I like the idea of a larger coil more ground, but it takes me twice as long to find the target when I do find something. I'm concerned the larger coil on the F75 would challenge me as well. Are their advantages on the F75 which help pinpointing?

Another thing. A large coil on the MXT won't allow me close to playground equipment, but the smaller coil will. Any comments about searching around playground equipment? How close can you get to metal equipment? If playgrounds are not your style, perhaps others reading this who do frequent playgrounds can answer this question.

Thx.

Mark, mine is on its way soon. Pinpointing with the F75 was a concern of mine also as the M6, even with the 5.3 eclipse, wasn't as accurate as some others I had. From what I read and others tols me that own it, the F75 has the ability to retune over the target in PPing to narrow the size down. I like that idea on an 11" coil.

I'm new to the DD coil Myself and yes you can detune over a target so this helps. I'm going to bury some test target in the near future to
get an exact idea of the best technique for me to use when pinpointing. So far I have used the F75 in pasture land using a small
shovel , so pinpointing isn't really the big deal for now, but will change when I start doing yards. I find the targets to be in the center of the coil Most of the time.

I was new to the DD coil, too, and right off, pinpointing was a challenge. It, however, didn't take very long to master pinpointing and the retune feature is a solid plus. Although I have used the F75 on playgrounds, one cannot get much closer then 18" to the equipment. With the coil as such and the sensetivity of the detector, thats about it. One, though, can make short work of the average tot lot. I hit three such places this weekend and my take on clad was $16.66 and one silver ring in three hours of hunting. HH jim tn

with the lowest inch number you can generate at the same time. I often spend a min. trying to get the inches reading 1 digit lower for the most accurate pinpoint spot possible. If so, you'll be right on & will dig smaller holes. The VCO sound will be at it's most highest pitch as you close in. I think the F75 pinpoint is excellent, & once you know the coil, and where to dig (under the round impressed dot in front of the stem) you'll be fine....

i find pinpointing to be as easy as a concentric coil on a whites, dead center of the coil, though you may have to detune it once.
