Why Elton..........how did you know I spent the last week doing nugget research in my neck o the woods.
That's my project/goal for next Spring.
But, no. Haven't used the Omega for nuggets......yet.

Elton, 23 years ago when I first injured my back, the Doc told me "you'll never shake hands with a pick handle again", so that rules me out for nugget hunting....however, I do go after the refined version of nugggets, and sometimes "mother nature" throws in a nice diamond as well, so I just have to be satisfied with that. HH

I think we are all detecting for gold nuggets. As scubadetector said, "BUT if I do find one I promise not to toss it back"!! There is gold all over the earth, unfortunately in most areas (including Wisconsin where I live) the pieces of gold are far too small to detect. Location, location, location!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, if you live in the right place you can find nuggets. As far as "how`s it working out" Go to You Tube, if you haven`t already, and do a search on detecting for gold nuggets.
