Not much in mood of joy. Got a call from a young lady last night asking me how my Dad was - said she was his granddaughter- that she had heard he was living with me since about Thanksgiving. I never met the girl but it tore my heart out to tell her that her grandfather passed away - her sobbing confirmed she loved him. She had not heard about his passing so had not been able to come pay her respects to my Dad.

Doing the estate of my Dad is tearing me up too. Just to many stressful things going on in our lives here to be much in a joyful mood. Even Sherry's business took a nose dive, leaving us with no income at all.

I am praying for those with needs but for now I will just keep reminding myself God is on His throne - sometimes that is all I can say and know that if nothing else is true, right, just that God IS and always will be and that Jesus is Lord of all.

Hoping and praying you all have a very Merry and Christ filled Christmas.

no matter what happens or the fiery trials we each go through...Jesus will go through it with us by leaning on and trusting in Him. I know as I've had to lean on and trust in Him for my own needs for many, many years! Remember, He will never leave or forsake you...just keep the faith and keep saying please help me, Jesus, and tell Him you love Him even when you really don't feel like it and give God the Praise in all things...for when you've gone through the fire you will come forth shining as pure silver refined in the furnace seven times! God will provide...He truly does!
