I'm having a 14k streak

Dig

Active member
Hey everybody! I just came out of the Gulf and thought I would post a photo of a decent 14k band I dug today. I took yesterday off because I had the smack down put on me by the waves the day before. Today however, I got up to a completely calm Gulf of Mexico...not a wave. I wasn't about to look that gift horse in the mouth.I saddled up and went to a spot that has been good to me in the past. I found a decent amount of black change and some smaller silver rings but this big band was the happy dance moment of my hunt. For the people playing the home game, I found this ring using discriminate on my Excal II in water up to my chin. Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting!

You can't get much of a tan today at that water depth. Here in Jax the weather was outrageous too.
On the other hand.. you hit gold and congratulations on a nice ring, some good $ and a calmer sea. EZ

Beautiful find Dig! What did it sound like? I'm still looking for my first "big" gold ring with the Excal. HH!

Congrads on the big honker....................maybe a few years before I get back down, so try and save some gold for us northern boys......................joe
