My copy of the F-75 should arrive tomorrow. Hopefully this will curb my recent binge of buying metal detectors.

Oh well, it is still much cheaper than buying boats and gear when fishing was my hobby, or lens and camera bodies when it was photography. It for sure is much cheaper than the Honda Goldwing was.

But this is the 4th detector since December. One relic, one water and now 2 coin detectors. I did manage to sell 3 detectors that the new ones replaced. But I might need professional help if I don't stop. If I was married, I'm sure I would need a good lawyer.

I think I'll go metal detect if off. Whew! The waiting for tomorrow is killing me.

Alton, it's been awhile since White's and Tesoro have released a new detector. I can't seem to resist these new offerings either, but I am going to hold off on the F75 until guys like you confirm their abilities and then I will maybe do a sell off like you did. Keep us informed. R.L.

My DFX doesn't get much traffic these days and I know Whites will probably come up with something to compete with these latest offerings from Fisher, Minelab, and others. Clearly, Fisher isn't done either. I read it somewhere that they would have a new water detector in the next couple of years.

I hope to use the F-75 on a site near my home tomorrow to see what my impressions of it will be. I'll try to post if I find anything.
