I've been told the tejon is the deepest and the best. Even better than the 2 newer detectors.
But I also hear its a big learning curve with the sounds and such.Do y'all find this to be true. Who's the best to buy from

I owned one, and found it to be ok. I dont know about the steep learning curve for the sound. I never hunted relics with it, so I never tried to differentiate the difference between a bullet and a rusty chunk of iron. I just dug it if it beeped. I did find that I could tell the difference in beeps between foil and nickels though. I doubt you'll regret purchasing it, so get it, enjoy it, and learn all you can about it!

Best of luck,

J.

What type of detecting do you do?

John

Sid...Your best dealer to buy from will be the one who is located close enough to visit and will let you see for yourself which one of those three machines you mention is best suited for you. If you turn on all three machines and at least run them through a test garden, I will bet that you decide to buy a different one than you see yourself purchasing right now. Don't believe everything your told without testing it out for yourself. Purchasing a machine based solely on what someone else is saying on a forum can be an expensive education. Good luck and let us know what you decide.
