found these at a tot lot in the mulch by the kids slides ,swings and play area in about 45 mins, jeeze i just feel the gold is getting close ! HH thx for looking
 
I like swings best of those you mentioned...
Then, any grassy and especially shaded areas near the playground where folks can watch their children from.

Don't forget the gravel parking lot where it's frequently a flurry of activity loading and unloading the vehicle !
 
I'm no expert, but the good stuff I've found at schools has been as far away from the school building as you can get and still be on school property (grammar schools). Especially, if you can find "cover" there.
That's where the little boy goes to hide, while playing with the coins he "borrowed" from daddy's collection, the big Ruby ring he found while going through mom's dresser drawers. That's where I always look first, at schools.

Oh, "cover" defined as bushes, trees, a back stop, etc where you can hide. They usually leave the stuff there for future recesses then forget where the buried it.

Oh, if you live in Fresno, don't read this..................I don't need the competition! :nono::nono:
