Hey Everybody!! Well I'm still learning how to use my new Explorer, but I'm having a BLAST digging up pennies and pull tabs. I can't wait to find my first real jewel, I know it's coming. These are my finds from the last couple of weeks (still hunting in backyard and local park). Anybody have any tips or suggestions for treasure hunting in Alabama..lots of red clay dirt. Thanks to all you treasure hunting pros out there for keeping me so pumped up!!! Look forward to hearing from you!

Hi lilynluv,
your doing very well, as for the jewelery keep looking, you never know what the next signal will bring up, and it's a real thrill to dig up your first gold ring, and the next, and the next, it just keeps going.

All the best.....Boony

Keep diggin' like that and you'll find your first silver or gold in no time :) I've only been doing this for about 2 years and I sure remember my first ring. It was a little silver ring with a blue stone found at a mulch playground (under the kiddie swings). I couldn't believe it!

Good luck!

WTG Lilynluv! Looks like you are on your way to some great finds this year and I hope the very best for you. Just remember to take it slow and to dig the signals that are weak also. These will be the older coins and jewelry that we detectorists look for. I hope you find your first silver coin or ring so you can have that rush of excitement run through your body. Good Luck and HH.:clapping::thumbup:
