Im ERALLY beginning to get discouraged..............

............I called that Co.that helps people get jobs-They told me the Co. I interviewed for put a couple people to work,they said they didnt say NO to me,but they are waiting on other equipment,or something.Im gettin REALLY TIRED of this happening-Just today,my truck broke down;no money to fix it,no way to get to a job if I had one,either.

I don't believe you are trusting fully in God Jehovah in the name of Jesus! Be not discouraged for He is still on His throne and the job will come, but we mustn't be anxious in anything and wait upon the Lord and He will supply our every need! You are far better off than many others, for your wife is working, your house is paid for and your truck will get repaired in time and most of all you have God's only begotten Son, Jesus, on your side....sooo lean on and trust in Him in all things, daily! Don't give up hope that this company will come through for you with a good job....they probably are waiting for special machinery which you are able to use....Be Patient! Ma Betty

only a very very few advertise full time work and for those everyone seems to apply for the position. The guy in charge of Experience Works in our area said he knows of one guy in the U.P. who has been on the program for 20 years...there are no full time jobs. I also found out those on the Experience Works program (anyone over 55 and meeting certain criteria) placed in a position with a host agency can only get 20 hours a week at minimum wage and if you decide to get another part time job they kick you out of the program. Darned if ya do and darned if ya don't. But at least is better than nothing to pay bills with.

Sorry man, that sucks rocks. Pray that God eases your heart. Its hard to describe the feeling a Real Man feels when he does not believe he is supporting his family. There are some who it does matter to who are low lifes and some men are not as bothered because they have found other ways to contribute and maintain their sence of dignity.

My prayer for you is that The Lord eases your pain. Don't forget you are not alone in this.

Amen, Turnmaster! What a great post. I'm going to step out on a limb here and say that "most" of us women don't understand what men go thru. Providing for a family is a tough job, especially in these times. The ability to provide (or not provide) affects a males self-confidence and security. The need to provide and protect is ingrained into a male just as a woman's ability to nuture her family. When that balance is off, problems multiply!
