I am coming back to the CZ family it's been 3 years since swinging one and now I have CZ6A on the way. In those 3 years I have gone through a lot of withdraws of not having a CZ in the detector stable. I guess I will be getting my fix tomorrow when it's delivered. :smoke:

I'm sure looking forward to my nickel count going up!! These CZ'S are awesome at finding nickels. Can someone answer this question for me? I know the CZ'S run at 5 & 15 kHz does those run at the same time or does it run one or the other depending on soil and detector settings? Thanks Morgan

Both frequencies run at the same time. It's a true multi-frequency detector.

Good luck, and welcome back!

Thanks Mike for answering my question and Thanks for the welcome back!

Thanks Vito!!

It's funny how CZs were Multi Freq. before it became a marketing tool for other Company's. They were way ahead of there time.

And a new one is promised! CZ are like eating peanuts- its hard to stop though I'd quit for a cashew (CZX?). Welcome back, Junior! If you forgot how to run a CZ I am sure we can point you in the right direction, but its like riding a bike- it comes back quickly. No need to scrape your shins though. :detecting:

When I got this CZ6A the upper and middle rod were scratched up and ugly, so I stripped them all the way down to bare aluminum and sand blasted them and had my buddy who does powder coating to do them in black this was the out come. The arm rest was replaced with a Garrett AT-Pro arm rest which I had to do a little modding with a dremel tool and I had to drill a hole in the upper shaft to mount it to it.

Thanks Trojdor that was what I was shooting for. I was tempted to buy new ones but thought I'd give powder coating a shot my buddy charged me 10 dollars to do them and I couldn't find a new middle rod for less than 26.00 dollars in good used condition. So I saved myself a chunk of change going this route.
