Had to return to Florida on a business trip again and managed to get in some detecting and hunting. Cold air followed us down again.......daytime highs were in the 50's for a couple of day with a stiff wind. Picking on the beach were lean until Sunday when it really warmed up nicely and I found some clad and a 14k ring along with a cheap belly ring.....my brother got only a little clad this time around.

Now the hunting proved to be very productive. We did a river and found many fossilized Mako sharks teeth........thousands and maybe million's of years old. This time my brother found a nice large tooth which is worth $$$. Beach scoops and sifters are used for hunting tools.

Way cool on the finds Bobbie! It certainly looks like you are in lootersville over there! You should be in some serious gold, as soon as you get down there. I'm no expert on sharks teeth, but the very large ones are from Carcharodon Megalodon. A dinosaur eating muncher, check that unit out! Sure am glad they ain't swimmin' in the surf anymore, I'd be bait fer sure! Great finds!

Hi ,I am interested in your trip to peace river .I live in the Brenton area in the winter.I wandered where you got your river access ,if you rented a conoe and where you went to get it, any other tips would be appreciated .Thanks Mike
