power lines, and many others, Then my daughter Heidi caught the flue. So been running my generator for power but its an older welder one not very well regulated for electronics so I don't use them with it. Laptop battery went dead so I had to go cold turkey for a few days here with no puter. All system are go again here. Power back, Heidi getting better, at least the throwing up part has stopped, Jeeze, nasty flue bug. Hoping I can avoid that part of it.

Well, got to go see what I missed here... Hope all of you are enjoying the new year. Lets hope its better than 2008 was, at least money wise.

You have a heated water system for the animals.?? We have an old cast iron tub with a floating heater.. Keeps the water freer even at the coldest. I still have to get water to the tub though!! :):

bought our generator about 6 years ago after a power outage of more than a week! We, as everyone from here to Memphis went out the first day to buy one thinking we could just pick one up...........but that was not to be. We actually had to drive to Memphis to get one!!! We made a sound investment in this one though, and it comes in mighty handy! :)
