 "Let the bells ring out and the pidgeons fly"... I am returning to the mighty Coinstrike fold! I just finished a trade that will, hopefully, redeem me from my previous "turncoat" status. I've missed the C$ since I traded it, quirks and all. When I look back at old coins I've found, most of them were dug with the C$! (except nickels, and I've got a 3D that kicks their butts). So, I present myself humbly before this honorable forum, begging for forgiveness for my past transgressions!! :) .....

except for that comment on nickels! :nono: The C$ is a nickel MONSTER! Any ways, Welcome back!:welcome: Just wipe your feet before you come back over here huh? I knew that you would come to your senses and get your heart right again. Now all we need is 3 days of slow rain and a jackhammer to break up this NC soil! We are looking forward to some good posts from your neck of the woods.

:welcome: Glad to see ya back, & I know how it is.......I have always missed mine, either when I left it home & took a couple other Fisher's, or when I lent the C$ out. Luckily I think the Excel is similar numberwise so I don't feel too lost ;) HH, Bill

I did the same thing a few months ago and realized how much I missed the C$ to. But, I aint as keen on the 3d and nickels as you are. But I have a CZ5 & CZ70 for that. Also the C$ will find as many nickels as I have found with the 3d as long as you dig pulltabs, but thats the same thing with the CZ5, 3d & CZ70, if you don't dig pulltabs, you wont dig nickels.

Also, one of your fellow countrymen aka: Tony enlightened me as well that if you discrim out pulltabs & such, you will mostlikely not dig any gold either. Now if you want to find good stuff, do like Tony, dig all positive numbers, you will dig a lot of trash, but you will also dig some good stuff to.

Good luck & you will enjoy the C$ even more the second time around. The CZ70 has always been my favorite machine, but it seems to be spending quite a bit of time in the closet since I got the C$ back.

HH,
Mike
