I have been using this machine for a few months now and I am hitting sites that have been hunted to death and this machine is making me wonder how in the world did I miss these coins and relics. It's like my old sites are now new sites and each time I dig a good target I'm scratching my head. I have hit these sites with a variety of machines that were cheap to expensive machines and the T2 Classic is leaving them in the dust on finds. I am hunting in 3 tones disc set at 10 and sensitivity at 90-99. This machine is just plain fun to hunt with and it doesn't require a engineering degree to set it up. It's just a awesome machine to hunt with. I'll try and post up some pics of my finds that I've made with it. If you guys haven't tried one I'm telling you it's a very good machine at a very good price.

Sounds like as if you like using the T2,they are a very good detector,i still use my original green one and could never see the need to upgrade to any of the other T2 machines even the DST upgrade that they offered a few years back,if you want a machine that takes just seconds on setting up and you are out detecting then it does not get much better that this machine.

Out of interest which coil do you use the most the stock or the Sharpshooter ?? i mainly use the SS coil but for real deep detecting on pasture sites then i will use the larger 15x12 SEF coil or even the BIG Nel,and also on a spare rod i use the superb little 5'' coil for really trashy sites or in between the stubble rows when the crops come off.

I am mainly using the Sharpshooter Coil but in the woods and pastures I am using the stock coil.

if you hunt in nail and iron sites the little 5" coil is amzing in sites.i have hunted so much with the 5" inch coil when i do put my stock coil on i hunt with it for about 3 hours hate it so much put the little 5" back on. i really do love the t2s i dont have the classic but i have the se.

Bigjon I have been on the watch out for a reasonably priced 5" coil for my T2 between the stock coil and Nel Sharpshooter and 5" coil it should have all of my detecting needs meet. I love picking through iron infested sites that other detectorists pass off as unhuntable

I've got a 5'' coil for the T2 for sale on the Detector Accessories forum. $70, like new, one hour of actual use.

Got to love the Teknetics detectors.

I have been playing with a new one also. It will be a backup/visitor detector to my E-Tracs. So far so good! I was right under an electric wire with no problems. This is the newer EMi version... Only thing I didnt like is sound coming from in behind you. If you are wearing headphones wouldnt matter. Good Luck!
