I'm a zincoln killer

Just got my MXT300. Bought it used for 525 and it arrived in time this afternoon for me to get across the street to the park for about an hour. It appears my neighbors are poor because I found all their pennies!:rage: The great thing about the MXT is when it said it was a penny it was a penny. The only time it said it was a quarter it was a bottle cap. Overall I enjoyed it immensely and I'm looking forward to getting out again tomorrow. My neighbors just need to cough up a little more bling so my wife will quit making fun of me.

You'll really like that detector when you get to really know it. You'll want one of the smaller coils for trashy areas in the park. The 6X10 does well in trash as does the 5.3. Have fun.

Every penny counts! Remember that and also the more you use it the more you'll get use to your machine. I think once you get all the surface coins out of there, you might be surprised as to what you find deeper. Good luck and keep us posted. HH, Nancy

Congrats on the MXT.
A Penny saved is in the pouch...
A lot of nice rings ring in as pennies.
Keep hitting that park there is bound to be one.

Good luck.:whites::detecting:
When you find that first gold ladies ring
the wife will not make fun of the hobby
especially when you give her the ring.

Took the MXT out again today. Put the 6x10DD coil on and we hit an old homestead we've gone over before. It's an lot where a home once stood nearly 100 years ago but has been burned down for years. There is a TON of iron on the site as well as melted metals from the fires. I hunted in relic mode rather than CJ because I like the tones better and I dug 3 wheaties, two dimes(none silver) a bunch of zincolns and a kids ring. It's a junk ring but for me it was my first ring and I'm pumped. What I love about the MXT is the separation between targets. I would find a penny tone between iron tones literally inches apart. I didn't dig everything because the site is so trashy but I'm just so amazed at what it's telling me in my earphones. Awesome machine!

Good going. But some of those "trashy" sounds my be masking a very nice coin or gold ring. Congrats on your first ring. Even if it's a kid's ring, it's a ring! Some of the cereal/premium kids rings are quite expensive and hard to find these days. Keep an eye out for them. HH, Nancy

You are doing great! Hope Pismo worked out well. See ya at club meeting Thursday.
