Went to a nearby spot for a quick hunt. The batteries began to run low. I worked the turf up to the river. Came up with a silver quarter from 1964. I find so many 65's and ive found alot of silver quarters but i think this is my first 64. If i find silver or an old coin its worth it. Its freezing here again. I think im gonna be off for a week. 5 silvers this spring and ive gone out less than 10 times. Last year i probably averaged 1 silver for every 3 times out. But its streaky. Ive found a great old hilltop that should be awesome if my research is correct. The problem is its private and there developing condos in front of it. I called the seller and he said the hilltop was to become a park for the condo community. Hit it now or later?

If you can get up ther, I'd say go now if it isn't fenced or posted. If you have to wait for the park then it will be tougher to find the good stuff. Deeper and a lot might be "encapsulated" forever, i.e. pavement, buildings etc.
