im a newbie. what does +SU mean ?

hi all. just found this site.
ive just got a fisher coinstrike today but should it have +SU on the display every time i turn it on ?
says nothing at all about it in the manual.
its second hand is it faulty ?
any help please, thanks
 
Time to change the battery. What you are seeing is really 5 V(volts) When you change them out you will see it change.

that could answer my 2nd question of why its constantly beeping at me all the time (maybe some kind of low battery warning then).
i better to go to the shop !
