IM-15 and IM-16 Illustration

If you miss the target on the Right swing because of the Null from the Iron target ( set at -15 ) Wouldn't you still pick up the " Good Target" on your return swing ( left Swing ) !?! Also you wouldn't have to listen to all that noise in -16 . Cody thank you for all your great posts .

Yes, we can hit the target from only one direction. This is one reason why the rule of thumb that a one way hit is not a good target is wrong. However, targets are not in the soil as I drew but at different levels and angles. If using null we want the threshold to recover from a null so we can get a positive hit. If the iron is at an angle to the coin and shallow, as an example, then the coin is missed due to the null. I don't use IM-16 at a site with a lot of trash. I don't use iron mask to hunt in at all but a modified Smartscreen with other settings that is posted down the page.

I enjoy posting and helping.
