First time out in the water in a week...other priorities and a West wind made the daily decision for me. Big water and a late start this morning I hunted till the water started getting crowded and left around noon. Still managed to find a silver band that was a weak high tone on the Xcal.
Friday was the first good day after the wind died to get out and from the amount of holes I was stepping in, a good number of people were out there,...... or one very determined person with a PI. It was also very sanded in, like walking on pudding in some areas. Still optimistic from the amount of people filling the beach as I was leaving, hopeful depositors in our favor. Summertime crowds just don't seem the same as in years past. Not as rich either!!! GL ALL

I like the silver, and I would take that hunt over mine today. I dug 15 pulls and 15 shot gun head stamps... We got out of the water after 2.5 hours and marked that beach off the list.

Congrads on the Silver, Good hunt for you!!

Good solid hunt! Man, those split shot signals sure make a guys heart jump! no mistaking that sweet ping of a silver ring though...its almost "take it to the bank" kind of signal!:clapping:
